I dived into the genealogy of my family and my husband’s about a year ago.  Can we say that I am obsessed with the stories of these people?  I can spend hours reading censuses, or looking through records, or cataloging all the data I have collected.  This blog is an attempt to put it all together, and to have a place to put research notes, thoughts, troll for unknown relatives, and more.

The primary families that I am covering are the Calhoun, Fettes, Moynes, Isaac, Henderson, Vermilyea, Smoorenburg, Warmerdam, Waaijer, Boere, van der Zalm families, but there are more.
